Statewide Preventive Care Utilization Rates
Due to a variety of problems, an annual average of 2.9 million children who were enrolled in Medi-Cal during fiscal years 2018-19 through 2020-21 did not receive all of the preventive health care services that the State has committed to provide to them. To explore this issue, we analyzed Department of Health Care Services' data and created the interactive graphics below that allow users to explore preventive health care utilization rates for children by location (county), age, language, and ethnicity for each fiscal year.
